Project Summary

Replacing UBC’s Dairy Research building is this addition to one of UBC’s founding faculties, Applied Science.  The undergraduate engineering students will benefit from the new computer labs, meeting rooms, and student society offices housed in the project.

Planning and installation of the conduit raceways (feeders and branch wiring) proved a major challenge in the structure due to the open concept and high proportion of exterior glazing.

Certified LEED Gold, the project was completed just in time for the faculty’s centennial celebration.  Another project completed by Bridge, “On Time”.
