In addition to weekly job site tool box meetings, Bridge Electric's Safety Committee meets monthly, reviews all aspects of our Safety Program and takes action as required.
Bridge Electric demands all site employees have current training/testing in the necessary WHMIS, First Aid/C.P.R., Hilti and hearing tests. Job Foremen ensure all new employees to a site are fully trained on the tools involved and acquainted with on-site safety and reporting procedures.
Bridge Electric considers accident prevention and safety training priority number one. The company provides training, tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. All employees must comply with all Worker's Compensation Board regulations and, when necessary, wear required personal protective equipment. Safety shortcuts are NEVER an option.
The company provides, at no cost to the employee, specialized safety equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety gloves, fall protection equipment, respirators and high voltage safety gear.
