One of the seven buildings selected for renovation as part of the UBC Renew Project in partnership with the Province of British Columbia. Electrical rough-in and finishes required a high level of coordination to accommodate the buildings low ceilings and wood panel finish.

The General Contractor was Ledcor Construction with MCW being the Electrical Engineer. Interior demolition started in the fall of 2006. Asbestos abatement and seismic upgrades completed in the summer of 2007. Final completion was in the fall 2008.
